What to do when it rains in the Loire Valley & Orléans Forest
in the Loiret?

There was a lot of grumbling in the group. We’re in Jargeau and it’s raining!
So to maintain the good atmosphere of our holiday, I took matters into my own hands.
While the twins Gabriel and Lucas were building an insect shelter,
Séverine and I visited the art exhibition at the Maison de Loire du Loiret in Jargeau.

 

After a very nice lunch in the area, the family let off steam at the swimming pool.

I’m in Châteauneuf-sur-Loire and it’s raining!

Don’t panic, visit the Musée de la Marine de Loire.
As well as learning about the life of the sailors, you’ll learn about the history of the Baudin bridge-building company.

Immerse yourself in life at the end of the 19th century by visiting the Manoir des Tourelles, the famous Castelneuvian home where Ferdinand Arnodin, a French engineer and industrialist, lived.

What if it rains in Tigy?

You can discover the life and tools of the trades of yesteryear by visiting the museum of ancient rural crafts.

 

What about Vienne-en-Val?

The Gallo-Roman and Medieval Museum in Vienne-en-Val invites you to discover numerous Gallo-Roman and medieval remains.
