Local history tells us that in the 12th century, the <strong>Saint-Laurent was a spring with miraculous virtues<\/strong>: soaking your shirt and underwear in this stream cured rheumatism and gave strength to the elderly.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Today it takes you to a contemporary monastery in the heart of the forest where the Benedictine nuns of Bouzy continue to make Eau d&#8217;Emeraude. As far back as the 17th century, <strong>Madame de S\u00e9vign\u00e9 boasted to her daughter of the relief Emerald Water<\/strong> brought her after a carriage accident.
